Objective:
CAPS Medical is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with focus on design and implementation of complex multidisciplinary medical devices composed of delivery systems and capital equipment, to join our growing development team and lead mechanical engineering activities in the company.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing company products through full product lifecycle: design, manufacturing, testing, documentation and ECOs implementation, and suppliers management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development of delivery systems and capital equipment, including their manufacturing process, while meeting medical device standards
- Oversee manufacturing and testing subcontractors, setting requirements, process control, and acceptance testing
- Define and produce prototype devices; define and conduct development experiments, design verifications and process validations
- Support company products in pre-clinical and clinical activities
Requirements:
- B.Sc.in Mechanical Engineering from a well-established university- Must
- A minimum of 3 years of R&D experience, in a dynamic star-up environment -Must
- A minimum of 3 years Experience in the design and development of medical devices, specifically sterile delivery systems, implantable devices, or interventional devices -Must
- Knowledge of medical device standards trends, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Strong skills in CAD, prototyping, and testing
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluency in English and Hebrew, both written and verbal
- A valid driver's license and access to a car for occasional field work.
