Sheldon is an entrepreneur bringing over forty years of investing and leadership experience to CAPS Medical. He is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Chasing Value Asset Management, Inc. based in California. Over the past twenty years one of his primary investment focuses has been in the field of robotic medical devices. His initial foray into Intuitive Surgical in 2000, led to exponential returns and resulted in continued pursuit of companies with similar vision and quality management. He followed this up with investments in Mako Robotics (acquired by Stryker Corp. in 2013), Mazor Robotics (acquired by Medtronic in 2018), and most recently Corindus Vascular Robotics (acquired by Siemens in 2019). Sheldon is also a director in XACT RoboticsTM. Chasing Value currently has significant holdings in multiple other companies in the medical robotic sector. In addition to his specific knowledge of the medical technology sector, he is a California Licensed Architect, having worked with all levels of government and Fortune 100 companies on complex projects. Sheldon graduated from the University of Southern California in 1979 with a Bachelor of Architecture. He has written over 1,300 articles on investing and donates his time to local colleges and universities, educating the next generation on business and investment.
